Honing my skills

Hi All, sharing a Gecko Galz DT card I made in Word.  I have found that I can make a black frame and also I can print in white.  I love learning new ways to do my editing in Word.
Products used:  Gecko Galz Fall color Jewel it and pearls.
Instructions:  Bring image into Word, add sentiment and black border
print on Staples matte photo paper mount on to 5 x 7 card base add pearls
print paper liner for envelope and glue in place. easy peasy!
Well, that's it for today, thanks for stopping by.  ~Diane

  10. If I'm understanding your directions, I can use Word to print a statement and border on a piece of already printed paper. That's one of those ideas where you knock yourself in the head and say, "Why didn't I think of that?" Brilliant. FYI for your readers, if they don't want to buy Word, they can download "Open Office" for free and it works pretty much the same way as MS office. That's what I use now that I'm not teaching and have access to MS.

    1. Not exactly, but almost, I open the background image in Word and (wrap text) place it behind text. I am sure if Open Office has a border tool and a wrap text tool it will work there too. ~Diane
